TROY CASSAR-DALEY WINS FOUR AWARDS
 Troy won Male Vocalist of the Year for the fifth time with his performance of Lonesome But Free, the song that was also judged APRA Song of the Year (which Troy shared with Paul Kelly). He also won the Golden Guitar for Vocal Collaboration of the Year for his duet with JIMMY BARNES, Bird on a Wire, and his first ever Instrumental of the Year for Yellow Belly, taking his career tally of Golden Guitars to 14. JOHN WILLIAMSON took his Golden Guitar tally to 23 with his album Chandelier of Stars the winner of Album of the Year and Top Selling Album of the Year. John also won Bush Ballad of the Year with Bells in a Bushman’s Ear. PAUL KELLY won Heritage Song of the Year with the Rally Round the Drum, Video Clip of the Year for Song Of The Old Rake (directed by Nice Trees) and shared APRA Song of the Year Lonesome But Free with Troy Cassar-Daley. SARA STORER took her overall tally to nine Golden Guitars with her win in Female Vocalist of the Year, and KASEY CHAMBERS took home Single of the Year with her huge chart hit Pony. THE FLOOD won Vocal Group or Duo of the Year with Hello Blue Sky, and 2005 Toyota Star Maker SAMANTHA McCLYMONT won the New Talent Golden Guitar with her song Heart Of A Man.
