BRUCE GREEN
I'm a sucker for a nice instrumental album and this is BRUCE GREEN's third album now. It's another nice selection of 14 tracks you'd expect to find on a pedal steel outing, Secret Love, Crazy Arms, Welcome To My World plus the title track but there are also a couple of Hawaiian feel tunes to remind us of the pedal steel heritage. Isa Lei/Aloha-Oe and Adventures in Paradise all standard stuff and if I have any criticism it is that I would like to have seen an original tune or two just to add a bit of spice. Recorded in Clunes, in regional Victoria it seems that traditional country music is still well and truly on the market to be enjoyed.
