Enduring Queensland entertainer JOHN McSWEENEY has made a successful art form out of his hugely popular singalong series of releases, but there still beats a true country heart in this versatile performer. In this latest release, John headed again to Nashville to record, and the 17 track collection features a strong collection of new songs plus some favourites for the diehard McSweeney fans. John excels on the pure country ballads,
and standouts include the brand new radio single Until You Have Walked in My Shoes with its resounding life message, Someone Must Feel Like A Fool Tonight, Not That I Care and You’re Playing Hard To Forget. Production is slick on very traditional country lines, and when you add in some classic song like Somewhere Between, When The Girl In Your Arms and the JIM REEVES Medley, it’s certainly a value for money collection.
