Nominations are being received for the 5th Tamworth Independent Artist Recognition Awards. Enquiries can be made now on 02 6765 8021 to TIARA secretary Vicki Thorncroft. In addition to this, the TIARA Awards & Tamworth Towers in conjunction with Cheapa Music will be presenting the Takamine Guitar Showcase at the Tamworth Towers on January 17 2003 from 2.00pm. Special guests include Tamara Stewart, Michael King, Tanya Self, Col Finley, Wayne Law and Mark Tempany. The $12.00 tickets are available from Cheapa Music and Tamworth Towers. TIARA supporters include Rural Press, Eagleboys Pizza, Worldwide Retravision, PC Scott Audio & Lighting Productions, Mulga Music, Country Capital Spring Water, AM Printing, The Pub, Dillon’s Plumbing and Tangaratta Vineyards. A raffle, conducted with this event, to win a Takamine Guitar, will be drawn by Troy Cassar-Daley at Cheapa Music on Saturday 25 January 2003.
