ALISON MOORER
Her least country album there is still plenty here to recommend from the highly admired Alabama singer/songwriter and her co-writers Bruce Robison and Doyle Primm. Recommended cuts Ruby Jewell Was Here, Up This High, Hey Jezebel and Can t Get There From Here. Moorer’s soul/country leanings are coming to the fore and she remains a shining light in a sea of Nashville predictability.
